Some great points here about the Sun’s Web site. Much of this — page slugs, event alerts, etc — is due to their use of the Ellington CMS and Django. We use the same CMS for Scripps’ owned sites like rockymountainnews.com, commercialappeal.com and knoxnews.com.

Of course, they also have some awesome designers, videographers and content folks to take advantage of that technology.
