		<description>Thanks for the comment.  Regarding going with a hybrid approach to commenting (half Wordpress and half Disqus), that just seems kind of untidy.  Would rather wait on the import tool.

Thanks a bunch for the writeup! The list of cons you list is a good one -- we&#039;ve definitely been spending time addressing each of those things.

1. You can choose to leave historical comments as they are (untouched). Importing is a touchy functionality that we want to make sure to get right. We think it&#039;s the right move as well.

2. As a 3rd party service, we&#039;re going to earn the trust of users the old fashion way -- by being reliable and performing well. So far, so good.

3. Can&#039;t say much about this right now, but I wish I could divulge a bit about the cool stuff we&#039;re working on. You&#039;ll just have to wait and see. :-)
