2011 Social Learning Summit: Slactivism vs Activism #sls11
If you are or will be in the DC Metro area this weekend (April 2nd- April 3rd) I highly recommend you register for the 2011 Social Learning Summit which has been masterfully organized by Alex Priest of the American University Social Media Club.

Richard Graves, Director, Fired Up Media (@richardgraves) - Richard Graves is the Director of Fired Up Media and the Media Strategist for IB5k. He served as the Online Campaigner for 17 million person TckTckTck campaign, Associate Producer for LinkTV’s EarthFocus, and the editor of It’s Getting Hot in Here—dispatches from the youth climate movement.
Megan Yarbrough, Online Campaigns Associate, M&R Strategic Services (@misshealth) - Megan Yarbrough, public health advocate, is an Online Campaigns Associate and Social Media Guru at M+R Strategic Services, where she works with nonprofits to develop effective online advocacy campaigns.
Asher Huey, New Media Partners (@asherhuey) - Asher Huey is a new media political consultant based of out Washington, DC. He has a background as an organizer and works to use online tools as organizing resources.
